Range Rover HST Engine Vibration Repair Dubai

At Meta Mechanics, we recently completed an Engine Vibration Repair for a Range Rover HST in Dubai. The vehicle’s owner reported excessive engine vibrations, especially at idle and during acceleration. After a detailed diagnostic inspection, our expert technicians identified several underlying issues causing the engine vibrations. Here are the issues we discovered and the solutions we provided:

Issues Identified During the Range Rover HST Engine Vibration Repair

  1. Worn Engine Mounts
The engine mounts were found to be worn and deteriorated, causing the engine to shift and create excessive vibrations during operation.
    Solution:
We replaced the damaged engine mounts with high-quality OEM replacements, ensuring that the engine remained securely fixed in place, reducing vibrations and improving overall driving comfort.
  2. Misaligned or Damaged Drive Shaft
The drive shaft was found to be misaligned and had signs of wear, leading to uneven power distribution and vibrations, particularly at higher speeds.
    Solution:
We realigned the drive shaft and replaced any worn or damaged components, restoring proper power transmission and eliminating the source of vibration.
  3. Unbalanced Crankshaft Pulley
The crankshaft pulley was found to be out of balance, which caused engine vibrations to travel through the drivetrain, resulting in noticeable shaking during acceleration.
    Solution:
We replaced the damaged crankshaft pulley with a new, balanced part, ensuring smooth engine operation and eliminating vibrations caused by the unbalanced pulley.
  4. Faulty or Unbalanced Harmonic Balancer
The harmonic balancer, designed to reduce engine vibrations, was malfunctioning, allowing excessive vibrations to be transmitted through the engine.
    Solution:
We replaced the faulty harmonic balancer with a new one, ensuring that vibrations were properly absorbed and that the engine ran smoothly at all RPM ranges.
  5. Dirty or Faulty Fuel Injectors
Dirty or malfunctioning fuel injectors were found to be causing uneven fuel distribution, leading to rough idling and engine vibrations.
    Solution:
We cleaned and, if necessary, replaced the faulty fuel injectors to ensure smooth and consistent fuel delivery, restoring engine smoothness and eliminating irregular vibrations during idle and acceleration.
