Recently, we had the opportunity to perform a shock absorber replacement for an Audi RSQ8 in Dubai, and through our detailed inspection, we identified several key issues affecting the vehicle’s suspension system. Our team worked diligently to address these problems, ensuring the vehicle was restored to its peak performance and safety standards.
Issues Found:
1. Worn-Out Front Shock Absorbers
Issue: During our inspection, we found that the front shock absorbers had significant wear and tear. These shock absorbers were no longer performing optimally, leading to reduced dampening ability, which affected ride comfort and handling. This was most noticeable when driving over uneven surfaces or making sharp turns, as the vehicle’s body roll increased.
Solution: We recommended replacing both front shock absorbers with high-quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) replacements designed specifically for the Audi RSQ8. This ensured that the vehicle would regain its ability to absorb shocks and maintain better control during cornering and sudden movements.
2. Leaking Rear Shock Absorbers
Issue: The rear shock absorbers were found to be leaking hydraulic fluid. This is a common sign of internal seal damage, which causes the shock absorber to lose its ability to effectively control the motion of the suspension. Leaking shock absorbers can lead to an unstable ride, especially in high-performance vehicles like the RSQ8.

4. Insufficient Damping Performance

With worn or damaged shock absorbers, the vehicle struggled to effectively dampen road imperfections.
Solution: After replacing the faulty shock absorbers, we performed a complete diagnostic check on the vehicle’s adaptive suspension system. We recalibrated the suspension control unit to ensure it was working in sync with the new shock absorbers, offering the perfect balance of comfort and performance. 5. Uneven Tire Wear
