Range Rover SV Engine Vibration Repair Dubai

At Meta Mechanics, we are always committed to providing top-tier service and solutions for complex vehicle issues. Recently, we completed a challenging yet rewarding engine vibration repair for a Range Rover SV. The customer was experiencing persistent vibrations while the vehicle was running, and our team immediately set to work diagnosing the root causes. After a thorough inspection, we identified several key issues that were contributing to the vibrations, and here’s how we resolved them.

Issues Found and Solutions:

  1. Worn Engine Mounts
    • Problem: The engine mounts were severely worn, causing excessive movement of the engine, leading to vibrations throughout the vehicle.
    • Solution: We replaced the worn engine mounts with high-quality, OEM replacements. This restored the stability of the engine and eliminated the unwanted vibrations.
  2. Misaligned Drive Shaft
    • Problem: The drive shaft was misaligned, which caused imbalance and vibrations when the vehicle was in motion.
    • Solution: We realigned the drive shaft to ensure proper positioning and balance. This corrected the vibration issue and improved the overall drivability of the Range Rover.
  3. Damaged CV Joints
    • Problem: The CV (constant velocity) joints had suffered wear, causing uneven rotational force and resulting in vibrations, especially during acceleration.
    • Solution: We replaced the damaged CV joints with high-performance parts, ensuring smooth rotation and eliminating the source of the vibrations.
  4. Unbalanced Tires
    • Problem: The tires were not properly balanced, which contributed to vibrations at higher speeds, particularly on highways.
    • Solution: We balanced all four tires, ensuring that each one was properly aligned and balanced to prevent the vibrations caused by tire imbalance.
  5. Faulty Pulley or Serpentine Belt
    • Problem: A worn or damaged pulley or serpentine belt was causing an irregular engine load, resulting in vibrations during operation.
    • Solution: We inspected and replaced the faulty pulley and serpentine belt. This not only resolved the vibrations but also improved the efficiency of the engine’s accessory drives.
