At Meta Mechanics, we specialize in providing top-quality repair services for luxury vehicles like the Range Rover Vogue. Recently, our team completed a coolant leak repair for a Range Rover Vogue in Dubai. During the inspection, we identified several issues that were contributing to the coolant leak. Below are the issues we found and the solutions we provided to ensure the vehicle’s cooling system was functioning optimally.
Issues Identified During the Inspection:
- Damaged Radiator Hose: One of the radiator hoses was found to be cracked and leaking coolant. Over time, the rubber hoses can degrade due to heat and pressure, leading to leaks.
Solution:
We replaced the damaged radiator hose with a new, OEM-approved hose, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection within the cooling system. - Faulty Radiator Cap: The radiator cap was found to be faulty, which caused the system to lose pressure and lead to coolant leakage. A malfunctioning radiator cap can result in coolant overflow and reduced efficiency in the cooling system.
Solution:
We replaced the faulty radiator cap with a new, high-quality OEM-approved cap, restoring proper pressure and preventing coolant loss. - Leaking Water Pump: The water pump was identified as a source of the coolant leak. A failing water pump can lead to coolant leakage and overheating issues as it is responsible for circulating coolant through the engine.
Solution:
We replaced the worn-out water pump with a new, OEM-approved water pump, ensuring proper coolant circulation and preventing further leakage or overheating. - Cracked or Damaged Radiator: The radiator was found to have a small crack, which was allowing coolant to leak. A damaged radiator can cause coolant loss, leading to engine overheating and potential engine damage.
Solution:
We replaced the damaged radiator with a new, OEM-approved radiator, restoring the vehicle’s ability to efficiently dissipate heat and maintain optimal engine temperatures. - Corroded Coolant Reservoir: The coolant reservoir was corroded, which caused leakage around the container. Corrosion in the coolant reservoir can lead to coolant loss and, over time, disrupt the cooling system’s function.
Solution:
We replaced the corroded coolant reservoir with a new, high-quality OEM-approved reservoir, ensuring the system remained sealed and free from leaks.
