We replaced the damaged hoses, sealed any leaks, and refilled the power steering fluid to the optimal level, ensuring the system was fully functional. - Damaged Power Steering Fluid Reservoir: The power steering fluid reservoir was found to be cracked, leading to fluid leakage and inadequate fluid levels, which contributed to the steering failure.
Solution:
We replaced the damaged fluid reservoir with a new one, ensuring proper fluid containment and preventing future leaks. - Contaminated Power Steering Fluid: The power steering fluid was found to be contaminated with debris and dirt, which could have led to internal damage in the steering components.
Solution:
We performed a full fluid flush, removing all contaminants, and replaced the old fluid with fresh, high-quality fluid to ensure smooth operation of the power steering system. - Worn Steering Rack Components: The steering rack was found to have worn internal components, which were causing additional strain on the power steering system and contributing to the failure.
Solution:
We replaced the worn-out components of the steering rack, ensuring smooth and precise steering movements, and restoring the full functionality of the power steering system.
