Range Rover HSE Transmission Rebuild Dubai

At Meta Mechanics, we specialize in restoring and maintaining the performance of luxury vehicles like the Range Rover HSE. Recently, we completed a transmission rebuild for a client who experienced a variety of transmission-related issues, including slipping gears and erratic shifting. After conducting a thorough inspection, we discovered several underlying problems affecting the transmission’s performance. Here are the issues we found and the solutions we provided:

Issues Identified and Solutions:

  1. Worn Gear Components: The gears inside the transmission were severely worn, causing the vehicle to experience slipping and delayed shifts.
    Solution:
We replaced the damaged gear components with high-quality OEM parts, ensuring smoother and more reliable shifting while restoring overall transmission performance.
  2. Faulty Valve Body: The valve body, which controls fluid flow within the transmission, was malfunctioning, resulting in erratic shifting and delayed gear changes.
    Solution:
We replaced the faulty valve body with an upgraded OEM part, ensuring optimal fluid flow and consistent shifting behavior across all gears.
  3. Damaged Clutch Packs: The clutch packs were worn and no longer providing the necessary friction to engage the gears properly, which caused the transmission to fail in certain situations.
    Solution:
We replaced the worn clutch packs with new, high-quality components, restoring proper engagement and eliminating slipping or hard shifts.
  4. Low Hydraulic Pressure: The hydraulic pressure was low due to internal leaks, affecting the ability of the transmission to change gears smoothly and efficiently.
    Solution:
We resealed the internal components and replaced any damaged seals to restore proper hydraulic pressure, improving shifting response and preventing further issues.
  5. Contaminated Transmission Fluid: The transmission fluid was contaminated with debris and metal shavings, which further contributed to wear and tear on the transmission’s internal parts.
    Solution:
We flushed the entire transmission system to remove contaminants and replaced the fluid with fresh, high-quality transmission fluid to ensure proper lubrication and cooling.
