We thoroughly cleaned the transmission cooler to remove all blockages and restore its efficiency in cooling the fluid, ensuring the transmission stays at the correct temperature. - Faulty Transmission Cooler Lines: The cooler lines were found to have small leaks, causing fluid loss and reducing the overall cooling capacity of the transmission system.
Solution:
We repaired or replaced the damaged transmission cooler lines to stop the fluid loss, ensuring a steady flow of fluid to the cooler for better heat dissipation. - Worn or Failing Torque Converter: The torque converter was found to be malfunctioning, which contributed to excessive heat buildup during gear engagement.
