Recently, we completed a brake fluid change for a client’s Audi TT MK3, addressing key issues with the brake fluid’s moisture content and overall performance. Issues Found:

1. Moisture Contamination in Brake Fluid:
   • Problem: During our brake system inspection, we found that the brake fluid had absorbed moisture over time. This moisture can lower the fluid’s boiling point, leading to brake fade and diminished stopping power, especially in high-performance driving situations.
   • Solution: We performed a complete brake fluid flush to remove the old, moisture-contaminated fluid and replaced it with fresh, high-quality OEM-approved brake fluid, ensuring that the brake system was working at its optimal performance level.
2. Brake Fluid Level Was Slightly Low:
   • Problem: The brake fluid level was slightly lower than recommended, which can lead to inconsistent braking performance and even air entering the brake lines, causing soft brake pedal feel.
   • Solution: After flushing the old fluid, we topped up the brake fluid to the proper level, ensuring consistent brake pedal feel and proper brake pressure.
3. Signs of Fluid Degradation:
   • Problem: The brake fluid had darkened in color, indicating that it had degraded and was no longer performing optimally.
   • Solution: We replaced the degraded fluid with new high-performance brake fluid that meets the specifications for the Audi TT MK3, ensuring long-lasting performance and safe braking.
