Issues Identified 

  1. Corroded Battery Terminals
    • Problem: The battery terminals were heavily corroded, which can lead to poor electrical conductivity and cause issues such as slow engine cranking and erratic electrical behavior.

  2. Faulty Alternator

    • Solution: We replaced the faulty alternator with a new, high-quality, OEM-grade unit. The new alternator now ensures the battery is properly charged, providing consistent power to the vehicle’s electrical systems.
  3. Worn-Out Starter Motor
    • Problem: The starter motor was showing signs of wear and had difficulty cranking the engine, particularly when the car had been sitting idle for a while. This could have led to the engine failing to start in the future.
    • Solution: We replaced the starter motor with a new, high-performance unit. This ensures quick, reliable engine starts every time, even in colder temperatures or after the car has been unused for a period of time.
  4. Damaged Battery Tray
    • Problem: The battery tray was cracked, which can cause the battery to shift around during driving. A loose battery can lead to electrical shorts and damage to other components around it.
    • Solution: We replaced the damaged battery tray and secured the new battery in place with a reinforced mounting system. This ensures the battery stays securely in position, reducing the risk of movement and preventing electrical issues.
  5. Excessive Electrical Load
    • Problem: Upon inspection, we found that certain aftermarket electrical accessories were drawing excessive power from the battery, leading to unnecessary strain on the electrical system. This can lead to quicker battery depletion and potential damage to the alternator.
    • Solution: We recalibrated the vehicle’s electrical system, ensuring that non-essential accessories were disconnected or powered down. This reduces the load on the battery and alternator, allowing both to function more efficiently and preventing premature wear.
