- Problem: The crankcase ventilation hoses had become brittle and cracked over time, allowing oil vapors and gases to leak. This caused a reduction in engine efficiency and led to oil contamination in the intake system.

- Faulty Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve
