Issues Identified:
- Worn or Damaged Gearbox Seals: The primary cause of the oil leak was worn or damaged seals in the gearbox. These seals are designed to keep gearbox oil contained within the transmission system. Over time, the seals can degrade due to heat, pressure, and age, causing oil to leak out.
Solution: We replaced the worn and damaged seals with high-quality, OEM-compatible seals. This repair restores the integrity of the gearbox system, preventing further oil leakage and ensuring that the gearbox is properly lubricated for smooth operation. - Leaking Gearbox Drain Plug: During our inspection, we found that the gearbox drain plug was slightly loose and showing signs of wear. Solution: We replaced the worn gearbox drain plug with a new, high-quality plug and tightened it to the manufacturer’s specifications.
