- Cracked Cylinder Head
- Problem: In some cases, the cylinder head itself can develop cracks, allowing oil and coolant to mix. A cracked cylinder head can lead to significant engine damage, including poor engine performance, overheating, and excessive oil consumption.
- Solution: We conducted a thorough inspection and discovered a hairline crack in the cylinder head. We recommended replacing the damaged cylinder head with a new one to prevent the continuation of oil and coolant mixing. The new head was properly fitted and sealed to restore the engine’s integrity and performance.
- Faulty Oil Cooler
- Problem: The oil cooler helps regulate the temperature of the engine oil. A malfunctioning oil cooler can cause coolant to leak into the oil system, leading to the mixing of oil and water. This can severely impact engine lubrication and cause overheating.
- Solution: We replaced the faulty oil cooler with a high-quality replacement. After installing the new cooler, we ensured that all seals were correctly fitted and tested the system to ensure no further mixing of coolant and oil.
- Cracked Engine Block
