Range Rover HST Engine Overheating Repair Dubai

Meta Mechanics recently completed a comprehensive engine overheating repair for a Range Rover HST in Dubai. Our expert technicians identified several key issues that were contributing to the engine overheating. Below are the critical problems found and the solutions we provided to ensure the engine operates at the optimal temperature:

Issue Found:

  1. Malfunctioning Water Pump
  • Issue: The water pump was failing to circulate coolant effectively, leading to insufficient cooling and causing the engine to overheat.
  • Solution: We replaced the malfunctioning water pump with a high-quality replacement, restoring proper coolant circulation and ensuring the engine stays at an optimal temperature.
  1. Leaking Radiator
  • Issue: The radiator had a leak, causing a loss of coolant and reducing the system’s ability to dissipate heat efficiently.
  • Solution: We replaced the leaking radiator with a new, durable unit, ensuring proper coolant levels and restoring the radiator’s effectiveness in heat dissipation.
  1. Clogged Coolant Hoses
  • Issue: The coolant hoses were clogged with debris and sediment, limiting coolant flow through the system, which contributed to the engine overheating.
  • Solution: We cleaned and flushed the coolant hoses, removing all blockages, and replaced any damaged hoses to ensure unrestricted coolant flow and optimal cooling performance.
  1. Faulty Thermostat
  • Issue: The thermostat was stuck in the closed position, preventing coolant from flowing into the engine, causing it to overheat.
  • Solution: We replaced the faulty thermostat with a new one, ensuring proper coolant flow regulation, preventing overheating, and allowing the engine to maintain its correct operating temperature.
  1. Low Coolant Levels
  • Issue: The coolant levels were significantly low due to previous leaks, contributing to insufficient cooling and engine overheating.
  • Solution: We topped up the coolant to the correct level with a high-quality coolant mixture and conducted a thorough system check to ensure there were no further leaks, maintaining proper coolant levels for optimal engine cooling.
