Issues Identified
- Battery Management System (BMS) Malfunction
- Problem: The Audi E-tron, being an electric vehicle, relies heavily on its battery management system (BMS) to control the power distribution between the battery and the motor. A malfunction in the BMS can lead to sudden power loss, causing the vehicle to shut down unexpectedly.
- Solution: We conducted a full diagnostic check on the BMS, recalibrated the system, and replaced any faulty components. This ensured that the battery was properly managed and that the vehicle received consistent power, preventing the engine from stopping while driving.
- Faulty High-Voltage Battery or Charging System
- Problem: The high-voltage battery, responsible for powering the electric motor, could have been malfunctioning or not charging correctly. This could cause a drop in voltage, leading the vehicle to shut down while driving.

- Software Glitch or ECU Issue
- Problem: In some cases, a software glitch or malfunction in the Engine Control Unit (ECU) can cause the car’s powertrain system to incorrectly interpret data, leading to a sudden engine shutdown. This issue can occur due to an outdated or corrupted ECU software.
