- Leaking Hydraulic Fluid:
- Problem: One of the front shock absorbers was leaking hydraulic fluid. Leaking shock absorbers lose their ability to properly absorb impacts, which results in poor suspension performance, especially on rough roads.
- Solution: The leaking shock absorber was replaced with a new one, and hydraulic fluid was refilled to restore proper damping performance. This ensures that the shock absorbers can effectively absorb impacts and provide a smoother, more controlled ride.
- Damaged Shock Mounts:
- Problem: The shock mounts, which hold the shock absorbers securely in place, were showing signs of wear and damage. Damaged mounts can lead to noise, vibrations, and improper alignment of the shock absorbers, further affecting suspension performance.
- Solution: We replaced the worn shock mounts with high-quality replacements, ensuring that the shock absorbers are properly aligned and securely mounted. This eliminated any unwanted noise and vibration, while also improving overall suspension stability.
- Worn Suspension Components:
- Problem: During the inspection, we identified that other suspension components around the front shock absorbers, such as control arms and bushings, were also showing signs of wear. These issues can affect alignment and overall suspension performance.
