Issue Identified:

1. Weak or Degraded Lithium Battery

4. Battery Management System (BMS) Calibration

The Battery Management System (BMS) was not properly aligned with the new lithium battery, which could have caused the battery to not charge correctly or operate inefficiently over time.

  • Solution: We recalibrated the BMS to ensure it recognized the new battery and was properly regulating charging and discharging cycles. This improves the performance and lifespan of the new lithium battery.

5. Inconsistent Start-Stop System Performance

The start-stop system, which automatically shuts off the engine when idle to save fuel, was malfunctioning. A weak or degraded battery can prevent this system from working correctly.

  • Solution: With the new lithium battery installed and the BMS recalibrated, we tested the start-stop system to ensure it was functioning smoothly. This helped restore fuel efficiency and reduced emissions as intended by the system.
