3. Corrosion on Battery Terminals
The battery terminals were showing signs of corrosion, which is common in older or poorly maintained batteries. Corroded terminals can hinder the flow of power and lead to electrical instability.
- Solution: We cleaned the battery terminals and electrical connections to remove corrosion and ensure that the connections were solid and free from any debris. This was done to restore the proper power flow and prevent further corrosion.
4. Faulty Stop-Start System
A weak auxiliary battery can directly affect the functionality of the stop-start system, causing it to fail to engage when the car is idling. This not only affects fuel efficiency but can also trigger error codes on the vehicle’s diagnostic system.

5. Battery Management System (BMS) Calibration
The Battery Management System (BMS) was not properly synced with the new auxiliary battery. This misalignment can lead to the car’s electrical system not recognizing the new battery, which can affect the battery’s charging cycles and overall lifespan.
