At Meta Mechanics, we recently completed a comprehensive service on an Audi TT Mk2 in Dubai, addressing a range of essential maintenance checks and repairs. Issue Identified:
1. Engine Oil Change and Oil Filter Replacement
Issue: The engine oil was overdue for a change, and the oil filter had begun to show signs of clogging. Old oil and a clogged filter can degrade engine performance and increase wear over time.
Solution: We replaced the old engine oil with high-performance synthetic oil that meets Audi’s exact specifications for the TT Mk2. We also replaced the oil filter with a new, high-quality filter to ensure proper oil circulation. 2. Brake System Inspection – Worn Brake Pads and Low Brake Fluid
Issue: Upon inspecting the brake system, we found that the brake pads were worn down to their limit and that the brake fluid level was low. This could result in poor braking performance and increased stopping distances.
Solution: We replaced the worn brake pads with OEM-approved brake pads that provide the best performance and durability. We also topped up the brake fluid and inspected the entire braking system to ensure it was in good condition. The brakes now provide optimal stopping power and safety.
3. Suspension System – Worn Components
Issue: The suspension system was showing signs of wear, including worn shock absorbers and bushings. Worn suspension parts can lead to a rough ride, poor handling, and decreased driving comfort.
Solution: We replaced the worn shock absorbers and bushings with OEM-quality replacement parts. This repair restores the Audi TT Mk2’s handling, ensuring a smoother, more comfortable ride and improved stability on both straight roads and corners.
4. Air Filter – Clogged
Issue: The air filter was clogged with dirt and debris, reducing airflow to the engine. This can result in poor engine performance, reduced fuel efficiency, and engine misfires.
